Article 1 (Scope of Application)
These Terms & Conditions apply to the luggage transfer service provided by Wakayama Guide Tour and govern the relationship between the Company and the Customer.
Article 2 (Definitions)
- “Luggage” refers to suitcases, backpacks, bags, and other similar items carried during travel.
- “One item” means a single piece of luggage that can be carried independently.
If additional items are attached to or fastened onto a suitcase or similar item (including plastic bags, umbrellas, or hand-carry bags), such luggage shall be counted as two items.

Article 3 (Service Description)
The Service provides transportation of the Customer’s luggage between designated accommodation facilities, or from a railway station to an accommodation facility, along tourist routes in the Kumano Kodo area.
Article 4 (Application and Acceptance Period)
- Applications must be submitted no later than 20 days prior to the service date, in principle.
- Late applications may be accepted only if the Company’s schedule permits, following consultation.
- The Company may outsource transportation to partner operators for operational or efficiency reasons.
- In such cases, the Subcontractor’s fees and cancellation policies shall apply, and the Customer’s consent shall be obtained in advance.
Article 5 (Acceptance and Delivery of Luggage)
- (Drop-off)
Luggage must be left at the designated location by 9:00 a.m. on the day of transport. - (Failure of Collection)
If luggage cannot be confirmed by 9:00 a.m., transportation may not be possible and no refund shall be issued. - (Delivery Time)
Delivery is scheduled by 5:00 p.m., subject to traffic conditions. - Additional charges apply if the actual number of items exceeds the declared quantity.
Article 6 (Restrictions and Prohibited Items)
- The following items are not accepted:
(1) Cash, valuables, precision equipment, fragile items
(2) Hazardous or prohibited items
(3) Items over 25 kg or exceeding 160 cm in total dimensions
(4) Items of unusual shape without prior approval
Article 7 (Fees and Payment)
Fees shall be determined by the Company or Subcontractor and paid using the designated method.
Article 8 (Disclaimer)
- The Company is not liable for delays due to force majeure.
- The Company is not responsible for loss or theft before pickup or after delivery.
- Minor damage during normal transport is not compensable.
Article 9 (Compensation)
Compensation shall be limited to insurance coverage, up to JPY 5,000,000 per incident, based on market value.
Article 10 (Cancellation and Changes)
- Cancellation fees apply as specified separately.
- Subcontractor policies take precedence when applicable.
- Refund fees shall be borne by the Customer.

All times are based on Japan Standard Time (JST).
When a Subcontractor is used pursuant to Article 4, the Subcontractor’s cancellation policy shall take precedence.
Any bank transfer fees or related refund charges shall be borne by the Customer.
